Turn 2 Learn Limited

Definitions

Turn2Learn means Turn2Learn Driving School. Instructor means any driving instructor, trainee instructor or authorised representative delivering tuition. Pupil means the individual receiving services. Lesson Fees means all sums paid for lessons, block bookings, intensive courses, instructor training and related services. Driving Test means any practical or theory assessment arranged through the DVSA or equivalent authority.

About Turn2Learn

Turn2Learn provides driving tuition, intensive training, refresher lessons, Pass Plus, instructor development and associated driving education services.

Services may be delivered through employed, contracted or affiliated instructors.

Operational details, locations and instructor availability may change from time to time.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking, making payment, accepting a lesson, attending tuition or continuing to receive services, the pupil confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

These terms apply unless replaced by separate written terms.

Eligibility and Legal Requirements

Pupils must be legally entitled to drive in the United Kingdom.

Learners are responsible for maintaining a valid licence and ensuring medical, legal and licensing requirements are satisfied.

Any circumstance affecting safe or lawful driving must be disclosed immediately.

Turn2Learn reserves the right to suspend services where information is incomplete or safety concerns arise.

Lesson Bookings and Delivery

Lesson duration, meeting points, vehicle allocation and lesson objectives will be agreed between pupil and instructor.

Lesson schedules may be altered due to traffic conditions, weather, instructor availability or operational requirements.

Turn2Learn may refuse, cancel or amend bookings where necessary for safety, welfare or business reasons.

Lesson Fees, Payments and Pricing

Payments are normally required in advance.

Block bookings must usually be paid in full before commencement.

Prices may change periodically but confirmed bookings remain at agreed rates.

Unused prepaid lessons may become subject to revised pricing after expiry periods.

Payments made directly to instructors remain outside Turn2Learn administration.

Block Bookings, Promotions and Vouchers

Block bookings are non-transferable unless expressly agreed in writing.

Promotional pricing may affect future refund values.

Gift vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash and expiry periods may apply.

Promotional campaigns may be amended or withdrawn without notice.

Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange lessons.

Late cancellations may result in full lesson charges.

Failure to attend may be treated as a completed lesson.

Refund requests must be made in writing and may be subject to deductions for lessons completed, administrative processing and promotional adjustments.

Refunds are normally returned through the original payment method.

Instructor Cancellations and Operational Changes

Lessons may be cancelled because of instructor illness, breakdown, emergencies, severe weather, road closures or operational events.

Turn2Learn will attempt to rearrange lessons within a reasonable timeframe.

Alternative instructors may be offered where available.

Driving Tests and Test Day Policy

The instructor retains professional discretion regarding readiness for test.

Turn2Learn does not guarantee test passes.

Use of a tuition vehicle may be refused where safety concerns exist or where professional judgement indicates insufficient preparation.

Test fees remain the pupil’s responsibility.

Intensive Courses, Refresher Lessons and Pass Plus

Course timetables remain subject to instructor and test availability.

Refresher training may be adapted to driver confidence, experience and objectives.

Completion of any programme does not guarantee examination outcomes.

Instructor Training

Instructor training services are educational services only and do not guarantee qualification, employment or Approved Driving Instructor status.

Qualification standards remain governed externally.

Health, Conduct and Safety

Pupils must disclose medical conditions, medication and circumstances affecting safe driving.

Lessons will not proceed where impairment exists.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or unsafe conduct may result in immediate termination of services without obligation to continue future bookings.

Instructors & Turn2learn reserves the right to cancel the lesson at any given time if there are any safety or legal concerns.

Vehicle Rules, Insurance and Recording

Tuition vehicles will carry appropriate insurance.

Dashcams and recording devices may operate for safety, insurance, training and complaint resolution purposes where lawful.

Instructors may intervene physically or verbally to maintain safety.

Data Protection and Privacy

Personal data will be processed under UK GDPR and applicable legislation.

Information may be retained for administration, legal compliance, insurance and service delivery purposes.

Website and Intellectual Property

Brand names, logos, teaching materials, systems and content remain the property of Turn2Learn unless stated otherwise.

Website availability cannot be guaranteed continuously.

Complaints Procedure

Complaints should first be raised informally with the instructor.

Where unresolved, complaints may be escalated in writing.

Turn2Learn aims to investigate fairly and communicate outcomes within reasonable timeframes.

Liability and Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.

Turn2Learn excludes indirect, consequential and business losses where legally permitted.

Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected.

Force Majeure

Turn2Learn is not responsible for disruption caused by severe weather, industrial action, government restrictions, vehicle failure, road closures or events outside reasonable control.

Amendments and Governing Law

Turn2Learn may amend these Terms periodically.

Current versions supersede previous editions.

These Terms are governed by Scottish law and applicable UK consumer legislation.
